ConvertBox vs LeadPages: The Ultimate List Building Showdown

If you have a website or blog, you should be building an email list of your visitors!

And to do that, you need a list-building plugin like ConvertBox or LeadPages.

But which of these platforms is best for your business? Stick around and we’ll help you decide!

About ConvertBox

ConvertBox is an all-in-one lead generation and nurturing tool, designed specifically to help you get more leads and convert them into paying customers.

ConvertBox started as ConvertBar before rebranding when they added a ton of functionality to their product.

Recently, in 2021, Josh Bartlett and his team acquired ConvertBox to make even more improvements moving forward!

About LeadPages

LeadPages is a lead generation tool and landing page builder included in their all-in-one software.

Unlike ConvertBox, you can create full-fledged landing pages without needing any additional software.

While LeadPages lacks some advanced features, they’re a great tool for helping you build your email list!

Which has the better features?

ConvertBox Features

ConvertBox has a lot of advanced functionality that LeadPages doesn’t at this time.

One of the main examples is their advanced segmentation and targeting, it allows you to completely personalize what each visitor sees based on a few different factors!

Aside from that, I love their A/B testing & analytics – they’re simple, yet powerful.

Here’s everything that’s included with ConvertBox:

  • Boost engagement with more personalised messaging
  • Segment and convert more visitors with multi-step funnels
  • Collect lead data with form fields and deep integrations
  • Boost conversions with built in countdown timers
  • Embed all your favourite marketing tools
  • Create surveys and quizzes to segment, capture and convert your audience
  • Display ConvertBox anywhere on your site
  • Beautiful high-converting templates for every stage of your sales process
  • Create, customize and launch in minutes
  • Collect more data with multi-step forms
  • Target the right visitors at the right time
  • Track everything in real time with detailed analytics
  • Split test your message and see exactly what works
  • Designed to maximize conversions on all devices
  • Manage ConvertBox across all your sites from one simple dashboard
  • Simple 2 minute installation on any type of website
  • A whole lot more inside

You can see everything else you’ll get in their free demo.

LeadPages has everything you need to generate more leads from your website or blog.

Here’s everything that’s included with ConvertBox:

  • Website Builder
  • Landing Page Builder

So whether you’re looking to build dedicated landing pages for collecting leads or simple opt-in forms, you can do that with LeadPages.

You can see all of these broken down in more detail here.

How much does each cost?

ConvertBox Pricing

ConvertBox isn’t publicly available just yet, but after speaking to the owner, I was able to negotiate a special lifetime discount.

For a one-time payment of $495, you’ll get lifetime access to the following:

And you’ll have the option to upgrade to ConvertBox Pro, where you can get higher limits:

LeadPages Pricing

LeadPages has a few different pricing plans, as you can see in the chart below:

If you have a significant amount of traffic, the A/B split testing is going to be a must-have.

Final thoughts

While LeadPages allows you to build landing pages as well as opt-in forms, I’d still go with ConvertBox because they have a lot more features for collecting and nurturing leads.

Smart tracking and segmentation can make all the difference for personalizing each visitor’s experience.

Factor in their affordable lifetime deal, and it’s really a no-brainer offer:
