Finding the right lead generation software for your business could be the difference between success and failure.
You need to generate leads for your business to grow, so which tool is the best to do so?
Two of my favorite options are ConvertBox and OptinMonster, which we’ll be comparing in this post so you can make the best decision for your business.
ConvertBox is a lead generation tool designed specifically to engage your visitors, build your email list, and drive more sales for your business.
ConvertBox has been around for quite a few years, with the original name being ConvertBar.
After adding more features over the years, they rebranded to ConvertBox.
And early in 2021, they were acquired by Josh Bartlett and his outstanding team to take ConvertBox to the next level.
OptinMonster is another lead generation tool designed specifically to help you grow an email list from your website.
Since launching in 2013, OptinMonster has become an industry-leading software used by Fortune 500 companies.
They have a great track record and over 1,000,000 sites using their software, but they lack some key functionality that a tool like ConvertBox can offer!
Which has the best features?
ConvertBox is loaded with features other platforms like OptinMonster simply can’t compete with.
Whether it’s their advanced analytics, intelligent targeting, or A/B testing, there’s a lot of key functionality you can use to grow your online business.
Here are the main features ConvertBox offers:

- Boost conversions with built in countdown timers

- Display ConvertBox anywhere on your site

OptinMonster does lead generation and list building right, but they lack on some of the advanced functionality such as segmentation and intelligent targetting.
Here are the main features OptinMonster offers:
- 2-Step Optins
- Geo-Location Tracking
- Exit-Intent Technology
- Drag ‘n’ Drop Builder
- Multiple Campaign Types
- Multiple Campaign Triggers
- Targeted Campaigns
- Seamless Integrations
- Actionable Insights
- More inside

How much does each cost?
While ConvertBox isn’t available to the public at this time, I was able to get an exclusive lifetime deal for readers of the Learn2Convert blog.
ConvertBox currently costs $495 through this deal but it may go away at any time, so don’t hesitate.
And if you wanted to upgrade to ConvertBox Pro (highly recommended), it will cost an extra $95.
This will provide you with higher website and traffic limits, making it a complete no-brainer if you’re planning on using it for your business!
OptinMonster has a different pricing approach, only offering annual plans at this time.
Here’s the pricing breakdown for you:
While it may seem cheap on the front end, it’s actually quite expensive since you’re forced to pay for the full year up-front.
I’d recommend grabbing ConvertBox’s lifetime deal instead, since you pay once and use forever…
Everything else you need to know about ConvertBox vs OptinMonster
Which is easier to use?
I’ve never found a lead generation tool easier than ConvertBox, so they’re the obvious winner in this category.
I will say, over the last few years, OptinMonster has become a lot easier to use than it once was so it’s not a huge difference here.
Which has better support?
While I haven’t had to put any tickets in for either software, I like how community-based ConvertBox is, having their own private Facebook group where you can ask questions and get timely responses!
I’d give ConvertBox the win for this reason.
Which has more integrations?
Both of these softwares should have no problem integrating with your favorite email marketing tool, so it’s a tie.
Here are all of the integrations that work with ConvertBox:
Which has better templates?
I like ConvertBox’s modern, conversion-focused templates a lot more than the outdated OptinMonster ones.
ConvertBox wins this category.
Conclusion: Should you use ConvertBox or OptinMonster?
Both of these tools can help you grow your online business, but ConvertBox has the edge in nearly category.
In addition, it works with every CRM while OptinMonster only works with WordPress, so if you’re using something like Wix or SquareSpace, you need to choose ConvertBox.
Pick up the ConvertBox LTD, see how it works for your business, and you can always refund it within 30 days if it isn’t a good fit!
